World Filipino Martial Arts Association

WELCOME to the official website of the World Filipino Martial Arts Association, an association of Masters and Grandmaster of the Filipino Combative Arts.  WFMAA was founded by Punong Guro Myrlino P. Hufana in 2003 with the mission and goal to improve the promotion and propagation of the Filipino Combative Arts under one flagship that represent all styles and systems indigenous to the Philippines.  
A world-class gathering is held annually featuring Guros/Masters and Punong Guros/Grandmasters representing a variety of systems and styles of the Filipino Combative Arts.  Specially selected featured instructors will teach and showcase their system or style in a series of seminars for two full days.  Students and instructors alike have an excellent opportunity to participate, meet, learn and experience authentic Filipino Martial Arts from some of the top FMA instructors in the world.  It's all about building a strong FMA Brotherhood worthy of respect, recognition and growth.  We must all work together in order for FMA to stand strong for generations to come.      
      

The Annual Gathering includes 2-full days of training with featured instructors, a Welcome Dinner, Awards Ceremony & Banquet, and world-class Stick-Fighting Tournament - WFMAA Laban Laro Championships.  Philippine cultural performances, talents and martial arts demonstrations by local schools will also entertain all participants of the event.  Vendors, sponsors and cultural exhibitors are also on site, selling and introducing their specialty products and services.  

WFMAA has gained respect and support from several Arnis Competition Teams from the Philippine's Air Force, Army, College of Aeronautics and the Philippine National Police.  This in itself has elevated our events to an international and world-class event.  Mga Kababayan, marami pong salamat sa inyong lahat!!!

The World Filipino Martial Arts Association is an association free of politics and egos.  WFMAA is built with trust, respect, honor, unity, loyalty and dedication to the development of a stronger Filipino Martial Arts community throughout the world.  Membership is open to those with the same philosophy and passion in the promotion of the Filipino Combative Arts and the Philippine Culture.   There is no fee to becoming a member.  However, your commitment, dedication, action and support is required - YOU MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENTS.   Go to the Membership page for details.
