to the official website of the World Filipino Martial Arts Association, an association of Filipino Martial Arts Masters committed and dedicated to the propagation and promotion of the Fighting Arts and Culture of the Philippines. Punong Guro Myrlino P. Hufana, the founder and president, cordially invites all dedicated instructors of Filipino Martial Arts to join in the quest.
A WORLD-CLASS GATHERING is held annually featuring top FMA instructors in the world representing a variety of systems and styles of Arnis, Eskrima and Kali. A select of featured instructors teach and showcase their fighting art in a series of training seminars for two full days. Students and instructors alike have an excellent opportunity to participate, meet, network, learn and experience authentic Filipino Martial Arts. Leadership, strength and honor amongst FMA leaders is necessary to the development of a stronger FMA Brotherhood around the world. Kapisanan at Samahan ng mga Mandirigma!
The Annual Gathering consist of two major activities - The EXPO 2-days training with top instructors and LABAN LARO Filipino Stick & Knife Fighting Tournament. The events include luncheons, welcome dinner and the Awards Banquet & Ceremony. Filipino cultural dances, various performances and demonstrations will also be part of the experience at the Saturday evening event. Vendors, sponsors and exhibitors will be on site, selling and introducing their specialty products and services. An excellent opportunity to network with the best in the FMA!
WFMAA has earned respect and continued strong support from competition teams of the Armed Forces of the Philippines - Air Force, Army, College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP). This international event, featuring top FMA instructors, offering complete package of activities & foods, and an excellent venue trully creates a world-class gathering. It is unlike any other. WFMAA is built with trust, respect, honor, unity, loyalty, dedication and committment to the development of a stronger Filipino Martial Arts community throughout the world.
